Biography
Kazue Chavez has been a lecturer of the Japanese language sine 1986. She has taught all levels of Japanese language from the 1st year to 4th year. She is currently teaching elementary level Japanese language. She was a recipient of the 1st Annual AUSCD excellence in Undergraduate Education Award (2003), and was selected for Who's who Among America¹s Teachers, 2004.

Education
She graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University, Tokyo, with a major in English and American literature. She has had intensive teacher training and experience of as a teacher of English as a Second Language.

Current Projects
Her current interests are to develop online distance learning.
